March 2008, The Pettibon System launched the new online Doctors' directory. The doctors are listed by state, with all certified doctors listed ahead of all non-certified doctors. Many doctors find this new online directory to be very easy to access and find other Pettibon doctors to refer their traveling patients to.

What do Patients think? Patients are finding the new directory to be very easy to navigate to find a doctor for themselves as well as for other family members living in different areas of the country. The new online doctors' directory also includes Canadian doctors. as well. We will be updating the directory on a quarterly basis.

The new online directory has also proven to be a great advertising tool for Pettibon doctors.

With more patients becoming familiar with the Pettibon System, the demand to find certified Pettibon doctors is growing. On a daily basis our sales office receives more and more requests to find not just a Pettibon doctor, but a Certified Pettibon doctor or somethimes refered to as an Expert. Now you are probably asking yourself what is a certified Pettibon doctor?
A Certified Pettibon is a Doctor who has completed all the basic fundamental courses of the Pettibon System as well as all of the elective courses on the specific areas of focus: Pediatrics and Scoliosis. In addition

to completing their course work, they have proven with numerous patient case studies how to implement and show correction with Pre and Post X-rays by utilizing the Pettibon System technique. A certified Pettibon doctor is considered to be an expert in the area of the Pettibon System among his peers and colleagues.
Now this may sound like a lot, however, this year The Pettibon Institute launched the Pettibon Certification program. The program has had tremendous response not only because you receive all your course work requirements to become

certified but you also receive personal coaching from a Certified Pettibon instructor. As one doctor going through the certification program said "The coaching really helps clarifiy and connect the dots with the different phases of care using the Pettibon System". Also, once a doctor is Certified Doctor they are listed as an "Expert" on the Pettibon System website.

How do I get on the directory?
We mailed a questionare late last year and did not receive it back from your office. Call our sales office and they will send you the application to be considered for the online directory. Do you have a Pettibon practice outside the USA or Canada? We want to hear from you! We are in the process of putting together an international directory. |

I was asked by several DC's in the Colorado Springs area if I would put on a one day mini seminar about the Pettibon System. With the Pettibon's gracious approval and their never ending support, we were able to gather 10 doctors in two weeks time to attend. The setting was Dr. Ron Salvaggione's office. Very comfortable and Pettibon equipped. The 8 hour workshop focused on Pettibon basics. In fact, the most basic of the basics. Doctors expressed sincere gratitude with this format,

as we did not move on to a new concept until all had grasped the preceding concept. By the end of the workshop, the doctors left with a new found confidence of the Pettibon System. Most have stayed in contact with any additional questions that have arisen, but their now strong understanding of basics make the questions very thought provoking.
The main focus of the very interactive workshop was the Initiating Event, visual posture patterns and the step by step body

weighting system. While a seasoned veteran of the System may feel this review would be sophomoric, the attendees had a lot of fun re-learning or finally comprehending these pieces of the System puzzle. In fact, these basics filled the workshop time.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the awesome Pettibon seminar on March 15-16, 2008. The hands-on workshop taught by Dr. Thomas Andrew was incredible. I learned so much it was just unbelievable. People in our profession need to learn this material. I'm definitely looking forward to the next seminar on April 19-20, 2008. Wow!
